Albinia
The town of Albinia takes its name from the Albegna river, which flows nearby. Many years ago Albinia’s salt production saw the construction of the once important and valuable Tower of the Salines, which is today situated near the mouth of the Albegna.
A modern agricultural center, Albinia has,in the last years, blossomed into a popular and important seaside resort for tourists. It provides many varied and beautiful possibilities to its guests, including horse riding and nature walks or just the opportunity to spend a peaceful day emersed in the greenery of the Maremma.
Tourists can also easily reach the Uccellina Park, Talamone, Capalbio and Porto Santo Stefano from here.
