Ansedonia
Overlooking the spetacular waters of the of Gulf of Argentario, Ansedonia is situated on a small rocky promontory and is widely recognised as the most modern and luminous seaside resort in the Maremman area.
The surrounding cliffs connect Ansedonia’s beach to the “Taglia Etrusca”, an old Roman channel cut through the rock in order to ensure the continuous flow of water into the ancient port.
Aside from such popular and beautiful beaches, where you can see many villas and lush vegetation; Ansedonia is also is known for its archeological zone rich in Italian history; including the ruins of the Roman city Cosa.
